Porsche Cayenne Turbo Electric: The Most Powerful Production Porsche Ever
Porsche has officially unveiled the all-electric Cayenne, a model that instantly became the most powerful production car in the brand’s history. The new Cayenne Turbo Electric delivers an astonishing 1156 hp and up to 1500 Nm of torque in Launch Control mode, pushing the boundaries of what an electric performance SUV can achieve. Despite weighing 2.6 tons, the flagship version sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds, matching the acceleration of modern supercars while retaining everyday usability. Deliveries for the U.S. market are scheduled for summer 2026, with prices starting from USD 163,000 for the Turbo variant.

Electric Powertrain That Redefines SUV Performance
The electric Cayenne launches with two AWD configurations: the base Cayenne Electric and the top Cayenne Turbo Electric. The standard version develops 408 hp during normal driving and up to 442 hp with Launch Control activated. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 230 km/h, already positioning it above many conventional performance SUVs.
The Turbo Electric raises the bar with 857 hp available at all times and an additional 176 hp boost via the Push-to-Pass function, giving the system its headline figure of 1156 hp. This explosive level of power propels the SUV to 200 km/h in just 7.4 seconds, while top speed increases to 260 km/h. These numbers make it not only the fastest Cayenne ever created but also one of the most impressive electric SUVs on the global market.

Battery Technology and Charging Speeds
Both versions rely on a 113 kWh battery equipped with dual-circuit liquid cooling. Depending on configuration, the WLTP driving range reaches 623 km for the Turbo and 642 km for the base model.
The 800-volt electrical architecture, borrowed from Porsche’s latest EV platforms, ensures ultra-fast charging capabilities. The Cayenne Electric supports charging up to 400 kW, allowing the battery to go from 10% to 80% in under 16 minutes. A 10-minute charge can add up to 315–325 km of range, depending on the version.
The model also becomes the first Porsche to support inductive (wireless) charging, although the system currently operates at up to 11 kW.

Advanced Platform and Driving Dynamics
The electric Cayenne is built on an updated version of the PPE platform shared with the Macan Electric. The architecture gives Porsche engineers the foundation for dynamic handling and stability typically associated with the brand’s performance DNA.
The SUV is equipped with a new adaptive air suspension system as standard, while a rear-axle steering system capable of turning the wheels by five degrees is available as an option. This helps reduce the turning radius at low speeds and improve stability at higher speeds.
Thanks to optimized aerodynamics, the model achieves a drag coefficient of 0.25, making it one of the most efficient vehicles in its class. Despite its focus on performance, the electric Cayenne can tow up to 3.5 tons, reinforcing its role as a premium all-rounder.

Dimensions, Space and Practicality
Compared to the gasoline model, the electric Cayenne is 5.5 cm longer and has a wheelbase increased by 13 cm. With overall dimensions of 4985×1980×1674 mm and a wheelbase of 3023 mm, the SUV offers noticeably more cabin space.
Practicality also improves with a rear cargo capacity of 781–1588 liters and an additional 90-liter front storage compartment. This balance of performance and utility positions the electric Cayenne as one of the most versatile EVs entering the luxury market.

A Completely New Exterior and Cabin
The design of the new Cayenne Electric is fully independent from the gasoline version. It features frameless doors, optimized body lines for improved airflow and a bold yet clean silhouette that reflects Porsche’s new EV philosophy.
Inside, Porsche integrates an entirely new digital cockpit. A curved 36.3 cm driver display and an equally curved infotainment touchscreen echo tech from the latest Taycan. The passenger receives a 37.8 cm dedicated display hidden from the driver’s line of sight. An optional augmented-reality head-up display creates a virtual projection of 221 cm.
The interior could be described as a practical showcase of futuristic luxury: electrically reclining rear seats, heated armrests, a panoramic roof with adjustable transparency and the Mood personalization system that adapts lighting, seat configuration, climate and audio settings. Porsche also integrates an AI-enhanced voice assistant, remote vehicle telematics and support for control via smartwatch apps.

Customization Options and Pricing
Porsche offers 13 exterior colors, nine wheel designs ranging from 20 to 22 inches and 12 interior trim variations. The base Cayenne Electric starts at USD 109,000, while the Turbo Electric commands a premium of USD 54,000. Importantly, Porsche confirmed that the electric model will be sold alongside the gasoline Cayenne rather than replacing it. The combustion-engine models will undergo an update program to remain competitive.

Why the Electric Cayenne Matters for Dubai Drivers
Dubai is a city where performance, prestige and practicality merge into daily lifestyle. With its instant torque, ultra-fast charging and luxurious cabin, the electric Cayenne is perfectly aligned with the needs of drivers who value speed, comfort and innovation. Its range of over 600 km is more than enough for long drives across the UAE, while the ability to tow heavy loads and offer generous space makes it suitable for both business and leisure.
