Peugeot Updates the 308 Hatchback and Station Wagon: Key Changes in 2025

Peugeot has officially unveiled the refreshed version of its popular 308 family, available as both a hatchback and a station wagon. With this mid-cycle facelift, the French automaker introduces not only cosmetic updates but also significant technical improvements, especially in hybrid and electric variants. Exterior Design Changes

Earlier this year, Peugeot also reintroduced its GTi performance sub-brand. The first model is the electric Peugeot 208 GTi:

With this update, the Peugeot 308 competes directly with Volkswagen Golf, Ford Focus, and Renault Mégane in the compact segment. The E-308 now has a more competitive range, while the Hybrid 195 targets customers who want flexibility: EV driving during the week and petrol assistance on longer trips.

The new 7-speed dual-clutch transmission ensures faster shifts and reduces energy losses, offering a sportier feel compared to the previous 8-speed automatic.
