The New Audi A6 Avant: A Business Wagon Reimagined

The New Audi A6 Avant: A Business Wagon Reimagined

Audi has just revealed the latest generation of the A6, now offered exclusively in the Avant body style — a refined and practical station wagon. Even as electric vehicles gain ground, the new A6 Avant sticks to traditional powertrains, including petrol and diesel engines enhanced with a 48V mild-hybrid system called MHEV Plus. Audi clearly separates its internal combustion lineup from full EVs like the A6 e-tron, which is based on the PPE platform.

Design and Aerodynamics

Design and Aerodynamics

True to Audi’s minimalist design language, the A6 Avant has a clean, professional look — no flashy chrome or excessive details. It's elegant and purpose-driven. With a drag coefficient of just 0.25, thanks to active grille shutters and a flat underbody, it's also impressively aerodynamic. Lighting tech is upgraded too: besides LED headlights, the car offers matrix LED units and OLED tail lights with custom welcome animations.

Dimensions:

Length: 4999 mm (60 mm longer than the previous generation)

Wheelbase: 2923 mm

Wheels: 18–21 inches
