2025 Aston Martin Vantage Roadster: A Purebred Convertible Arrives in the UAE

The new Aston Martin Vantage Roadster is more than just a convertible version of the coupe—it’s a beautifully engineered, blisteringly fast sports car with a soul. With a leap in performance, thoughtful interior tech upgrades, and dynamic refinements, this Roadster represents the boldest expression yet of Aston’s “entry-level” sports car.

Aston Martin Vantage Roadster

What’s New?

The previous Vantage launched in 2017 as a coupe and never quite matched its rivals dynamically. The new Roadster, however, is a completely different machine. Power has jumped dramatically—from 503bhp to 656bhp, and torque from 505lb ft to 590lb ft.

This is no longer just a loud V8 in a sleek suit. It’s a precision tool: beautifully balanced, sharply agile, and thrilling to drive. Despite being a convertible, the Roadster sacrifices none of the coupe’s dynamics. In fact, it enhances them with open-air exhilaration.

Driving Experience

Driving Experience

The Roadster’s suspension and electronic setup mirror the coupe’s, with softer transmission mounts and a 60kg weight increase. But thanks to chassis refinements—like stiffer rear damper mounts and a shorter final drive ratio—it feels tighter, more responsive, and more communicative than ever.

Steering is now quicker (2.27 turns lock-to-lock), and the brake pedal offers precise, fade-resistant feel. The Roadster dances through curves like a lightweight car, channeling the spirit of a Lotus Elise despite its size and power.

The ride remains composed even over imperfect roads, and the bespoke Michelin tires provide outstanding grip once warmed up. With intuitive throttle response, an e-diff, and multi-stage traction control, the Roadster encourages you to explore its limits with confidence.

Interior & Tech

Interior & Tech

Inside, the Roadster carries over the coupe’s much-improved cabin, now featuring Aston Martin’s own infotainment system with crisp visuals and physical controls for key functions like climate, drive modes, exhaust, and damping.

Notable upgrades include:

New digital driver’s display

One-touch button to deactivate all drive assists

8-layer Z-fold soft-top that lowers in just 6.8 seconds

Boot space: 200L (down from the coupe’s 346L)

The seating position is excellent, the leather is ultra-soft, and the overall quality is very high—though not quite at Bentley levels. Taller drivers may find the cabin a bit snug, and the shift paddles could feel more premium.

The new Aston Martin Vantage Roadster is the finished article: thrilling, composed, and deeply engaging. It’s the sports car to crave in Aston’s current lineup—offering style, performance, and sensation in equal measure.
