Nissan Unleashes a 495-HP Patrol Nismo – Only for the Middle East
In a bold move that reinforces its commitment to the Middle Eastern market, Nissan has revealed the most powerful version of its iconic Patrol SUV to date. The new Nissan Patrol Nismo features an upgraded twin-turbo V6 engine and a suite of performance enhancements, setting a new benchmark for the region’s full-size performance SUVs. Deliveries are set to begin in July, with no current plans to offer this variant outside the Middle East.

495 HP and Tuned for the Desert
While its American sibling — the Nissan Armada Nismo — makes do with 460 horsepower, the Patrol Nismo takes things further. The twin-turbocharged VR35DDTT 3.5-liter V6 now delivers 495 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque, peaking at just 3600 rpm. That’s a significant leap from the standard Patrol’s 425 hp, making this model the most potent version ever built with this engine architecture.
The drivetrain has been enhanced with a retuned 9-speed automatic transmission and a sport-tuned exhaust system. For added drama, the Patrol now includes in-cabin sound enhancement via integrated speakers, delivering a deeper and more engaging engine note.

Precision Engineering for On- and Off-Road Dynamics
To handle the added power and deliver a sharper driving experience, Nissan engineers have recalibrated the adaptive dampers, steering system, and aerodynamic bodywork. The updated aero package generates more downforce and reduces lift, while also optimizing brake cooling, which the company claims improves brake temperature control by 6%.
Interestingly, these updates alter the vehicle’s proportions. The new body kit makes the Patrol 90 mm longer and 40 mm wider, while the suspension changes have reduced ground clearance from 244 mm to 195 mm. Complementing the exterior transformation are 22-inch forged Rays alloy wheels, which are 23% lighter than the standard setup, improving both performance and ride quality.

A Sporty and Luxurious Cabin
Inside, the Patrol Nismo features red-and-black sport seats, red seat belts, and a steering wheel with a red center mark — all designed to reflect its performance DNA. The cabin is further enhanced with aluminum and carbon fiber trim, giving it a distinctly premium and motorsport-inspired character.

A Middle East Exclusive
Unlike the global rollout of the all-new Nissan Leaf — which has transitioned into a crossover and targets markets like the U.S., Europe, and Japan — this high-performance Patrol is designed exclusively for Middle Eastern customers. Nissan clearly understands the strong demand for high-performance luxury SUVs in the region and is responding with a vehicle tailor-made for both desert trails and urban boulevards.
With its bold styling, re-engineered performance features, and luxurious upgrades, the 2025 Nissan Patrol Nismoreasserts itself as a flagship SUV for enthusiasts in the Middle East. If you're looking for a large, capable SUV that blends brute force with refined detailing — and one that you won’t see anywhere else in the world — this Patrol Nismo delivers.
